Open sailing is open to all Members and Guests of SSYC and those who participated in any of our classes. Often invited groups attend as an introduction to sailing. Open sailing encourages participants to try all positions on the sailboat from steering the boat to sheeting in the jib. Several different types of boats are used and participants are encouraged to try each type.
