$97.00 + $7.66 tax = $104.66 total

Important Dates

• Signed Contract Due: March 20, 2026

• Payment in Full Due: April 25, 2026

To retain your dinghy storage space, both your signed contract and full payment must be received by the dates listed above.

Failure to return the signed agreement and payment by the deadlines may jeopardize your assigned dinghy space.

Dinghy Stickers

2026 dinghy stickers will be mailed to your residence on file prior to Memorial Day 2026.
Please make sure your mailing address is current with the Club office.
 

Dinghy Storage Rules & Regulations

Please review the rules carefully before submitting your form. By completing the form and signing the contract, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with all Dinghy Storage policies.

1. In this Service Contract (“Contract”), South Shore Yacht Club (the “Club”) provides the Member (which includes the Shared Member, if applicable) whose name appears below with the use of dinghy storage for the 2026 boating season, for the boat listed above. Use of the storage is further defined below.

2. This Contract is appended to and incorporated as part of that certain Member Agreement bearing the Member’s name for 2026 and signed and on file with the Club.

3. This Contract entitles the Member to use of Dinghy Storage Space from the Opening Date until the Closing Date for the dinghy listed above. A dinghy remaining after the Closing Date will be subject to removal and disposal or storage elsewhere by the Club at the Member’s expense.

4. Use of the Storage is subject to all Club Rules, Procedures, Policies and directives. The Member must affix a sticker to the dinghy and store it in the designated spot on the storage rack. If an outboard motor is also being stored, it must be stored on the proper rack.

5. If the Member’s dinghy is not in the storage rack by July 1st, 2026, the Member’s use of the storage rack and all fees paid to date will be forfeited and a new storage rack user may be assigned.

6. The dinghy is to be launched and retrieved from the angled ramp at either the north or south side of the Club, near the small derrick.

7. Storage will be by seniority. A member who is assigned a space may renew his/her contract for the next year. If space is in short supply availability will be by seniority. The Club shall have the option to refuse the renewal, if during the term of the contract the space is not occupied or the boat not used by the boat owner; or, if the member, during the term of this contract, violates terms or conditions, or any rules published by the Grounds Committee.

8. Dinghies stored on the dingy racks must be the appropriate size to fit on the dingy rack. The Sticker number on the Dinghy MUST match the number where the Dinghy is placed on the rack.

9. All Dinghies must be stored on the dinghy racks.

10. Dinghies may not be launched from large or small derricks.

11. The Grounds Committee reserves the right to move stored Dinghies on the Club grounds when it deems it necessary for any reason without permission or notification of the owner.

12. Owners are required to keep the area around their Dinghy clean and free of debris.

13.All Dinghies will be removed, and locks cut on grounds conversion day. A fine may be assessed the member if the dinghy is not removed.

14.The member is liable for damage to docks, piers, club facilities or other boats when caused by his or her action or neglect, and subject to disciplinary action by the Club

The Club is not and will not be responsible for any injuries (including death), or property damage resulting, caused by, or growing out of the use of docks or harbor facilities of the Club. The Member releases and discharges the Club and its officers, directors and employees from any and all liability for such loss, injury, death or damage to persons or property sustained while in or on the facilities of the Club. The use of Club facilities is entirely voluntary and at the risk of the Member.
