The Holidays are over, the Packer games are over, it is freezing out, now what?
Come on down to the club, we are hopping down here.  That includes the Auxiliary.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 4th. at 7 PM. We are once again having a Tropical themed evening.  Wear your island apparel (Hawaiian shirts, leis, flip-flops, etc.)  It might even be above freezing that night.   Let's escape the cold weather and picture ourselves in Florida with many of our Snow Bunny Friends.  I am sure we can even find some umbrella drinks at the bar.  We will have our business meeting first.  Watch the weather, if you think the meeting might be cancelled, call the club.
Last year we donated money to Feeding America, the Bay View Historical Society (their matching funds campaign), we provided Christmas gifts through our Giving Tree, we donate to Day Star, Bay View Community Center and provided the monies for the rest  of the retaining wall.   We love our club and community.
Our annual Queens Cup sale will be coming up.  We are once again running a T-shirt design contest. Submit your design to the club by April 1st (attention Auxiliary).
The club is looking for some help to keep our club clean.  We will have a list of things that need attention on a regular basis at our Feb. meeting.  We would like to get a group together to assume some of these things on a regular basis.  This could be just an hour or two once a month for some of us.  Another great way to enjoy our friends.  What is that saying, "Busy Hands Make Happy Hearts". We all need a Happy Heart.
If you know a new member bring them to our meeting.  All are welcome.

Sailing and Racing

SailboatsIf you are interested in sailing, and more specifically racing, there are ample opportunities to join one of our racing fleets, or to crew on one of the boats in those fleets.  The women's fleet races on Mondays, small boats race on Tuesdays.  Big boats race on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  And the double handed fleet races on Fridays.

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

PowerboatOur power boaters are active fishermen.  An annual fishing contest is held in July.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
