ArtkaGeorgeI would like to thank everyone for their help in the Grounds Cleanup Work Party on May 25th. The weather has not been our friend this spring and I appreciate that our members took time out to get our club ready for the summer season. I also need to thank everyone that helped in planting the flowers around the club. It looks fantastic!

I need to remind all of our members that have not received their membership card. Please take time to get your card. You can stop in the office during open hours and it only takes a few minutes to generate the card.

Dry sail storage has had a few openings this year. The people who were on the waiting list will be contacted according to seniority. Again if you have a Dry Sail space please use the space as an active boater. We do not want the spaces just used for summer storage.

Just a reminder that you need a sticker for the use of the dingy storage rack. New this year we will have a outboard motor rack located near the north dingy storage rack.

The boating season is about to begin so have a safe and fun fill summer.

Sailing and Racing

SailboatsIf you are interested in sailing, and more specifically racing, there are ample opportunities to join one of our racing fleets, or to crew on one of the boats in those fleets.  The women's fleet races on Mondays, small boats race on Tuesdays.  Big boats race on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  And the double handed fleet races on Fridays.

You can learn more about the various racing fleets by clicking here.  And the racing schedule (for all fleets) is available here.

PowerboatOur power boaters are active fishermen.  An annual fishing contest is held in July.

In addition, our power boaters host a number of events, usually on Thursdays as well as many weekends.
