1About Associate Initiation Fees

While an associate member, you pay an annual initiation assessment of just $91. Your assessments accrue to defray the cost of your eventual entry into the club as a full Active member. Learn all the details of this great program NOW.

Smart Move!

Joining South Shore Yacht Club as an Associate member is a great deal for young people. Remember that the earlier you join, the bigger the benefits. For Associate I members, annual dues are just $229. Dues are just $458 for Associate II members. There's no monthly bar/restaurant minimum. You can join as an Associate as soon as you turn 18. Remain an Associate member until you turn 31.

Also we give you a chance to pay your initiation fee in small bites over a period of years. You get a break from paying it up front all at once.

Instead pay an annual initiation assessment of just $91. We bank those assessments for you, year after year. Then we deduct the accrued amount from the total you owe when your initiation fee ($914.60) becomes due in full. That happens only when you age out of Associate eligibility and progress to full Active membership. The longer you've been an Associate, the less you will owe when it's time to make the transition.

Get in For Just a Hundred Bucks

Like everybody else, you still have to pay the standard $100 nonrefundable deposit when you join. But because it's deductible against your initiation, you don't owe an initiation assessment in your first year. Get into the club for $100, period.

As an Associate member you have full use of the club. Only one right is held back: We limit voting at general membership meetings to Active and Life members. Please consider joining early. It's the smart move.
